The PLI-CSI GL integration, which automates Postal Life Insurance (PLI) transactions within the India Post system, is now operational across India as of May 21st, 2024.
What this means for you:
- Effortless transactions: PLI transactions processed through Darpan or designated channels will automatically reflect in your daily accounts, eliminating manual data entry.
- Faster updates: Daily accounts will be generated the next day, reflecting the previous day’s PLI transactions. (e.g., Transactions on 01/05/2024 will be reflected in the daily account generated on 02/05/2024)
- No more voucher posting: Manual voucher posting for PLI transactions is a thing of the past!
Generated Liability Documents:
Post offices can now access system-generated liability documents for PLI transactions like maturity, loan , surrender etc using transaction code FBL5N within the SAP system.
Finding of Documents requires one time customer. It is created for every head post office .
