Procedure to Install the Latest Aadhaar Software Seed

1. Extract Update
   • Download and extract the zipped file available in the seed folder of any post office Aadhaar computer.
2. Stop Services
   • Stop all services related to Aadhaar software.
3. Backup UIDAI Folder
   • Take a backup of the C:\UIDAI folder.
4. Paste Extracted Contents
   • Paste the extracted contents into C:\UIDAI and select “replace all”.
5. Start Services
   • Start all services related to Aadhaar software.

RollBack Operation

In case of any issues arising from the update, follow the steps below to revert to the older version:

1. Stop Services
   • Stop all Aadhaar-related services in Services.MSC.
2. Restore Backup
   • Paste the backup UIDAI folder back into the C drive.
3. Restart Services
   • Start all Aadhaar-related services, then open the Aadhaar application.
