4. Disqualifications

The rules also outline specific disqualifications for candidates, including:

  • Those who have entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living, unless exempted by the Central Government.

5. Service Conditions

Appointees to these positions are required to serve anywhere in India, including Army Postal Service as needed.

6. Relaxation Provisions

The Central Government holds the authority to relax any provisions of these rules for a class or category of persons in consultation with the Union Public Service Commission, if deemed necessary.

Age Relaxation and Reservations
