  • Eligibility:
    • Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS)/MTS/Postman/Mailguard
    • 10+2 standard pass from a recognized Board
    • Knowledge of working on Computer
  • Examination Date: July 21, 2024 (Sunday)
  • Last Date for Receipt of Application: July 3, 2024 (Wednesday)

Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The examination for various positions such as Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant is divided into three parts:

Paper I
  • Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • Duration: 120 minutes
  • Maximum Marks: 100
  • Sections Covered:
    • General Awareness
    • Basic Arithmetic
    • Reasoning and Analytical Ability
    • English Language Skills

Paper II – Deleted (removed from syllabus)

Paper III
  • Type of Questions: Data Entry Skill Test (DEST)
  • Duration: 15 minutes
  • Maximum Marks: Qualifying only
  • Skill Test: Data entry test on computer (1200 key depressions in 15 minutes)
