GDS Rule-3 Online Transfer Cycle – Circle wise Allotment List May 2024

Conditions for Transfer Approval:

1. Seniority: When transferring from one recruiting unit to another, the transferred GDS will be ranked junior in the seniority list of the new unit to all existing GDS as of the transfer order date.
2. No TA/TP: Transferred GDS will not be granted any Travel Allowance/Travel Permit.
3. Relief Conditions: The Divisional Head will relieve the GDS only after confirming that no disciplinary or vigilance case is pending or contemplated against them.
4. Accommodation and Training: For transfers from ABPM/RMS to BPM, the GDS must arrange accommodation per BO standards. Before joining as BPM Level-I, they must undergo the prescribed training for BPM.
5. Limited Transfer: Refusal to accept the Limited Transfer order will be considered as one chance of Limited Transfer availed by the GDS.
6. Written Declaration: Before effecting the transfer, the SPOs/SSPOs must obtain a written declaration agreeing to the above conditions from the officials in duplicate and keep one copy in office records.
7. Timelines and Guidelines: The timelines and guidelines for relieving the GDS as contained in Directorate letter no 17-31/2016-GDS dated 24.02.2023 and 17.05.2024 must be strictly followed.
