Revocation/Review of Roles or Access or CSI Credentials for Departed Employees
The Government of India’s Ministry of Communications, Department of Posts (Project Management Unit), has issued a directive for all circles to revoke or review the roles and access credentials of employees who are no longer part of the department. This includes employees who have superannuated, been deputed, or are no longer associated with the department for any other reason.
Key Instructions:
- Revocation/Review Directive:
- This order is a continuation of the previous letter dated 04 June 2024 (Ref. Po Division letter No. 27-09/2010-Po-Part (1)).
- It is imperative to revoke or review the roles, access, or credentials of all such employees.
- Monthly Certification:
- All circles are required to obtain a certification regarding the deactivation/closing of access/roles/credentials for all such employees.
- This must be done on a monthly basis as per the provisions in the system.
- Action Required:
- Initiate the process for deactivation/closing the access/roles/credentials for PoS IDs, CSI IDs, Finacle IDs, McCamish IDs, etc., of all employees who are no longer part of the department.
- This process should ideally be conducted on the last working day of each month.
- Submit the certification confirming the deactivation.

This directive has been issued with the approval of the competent authority.
