Survey on IT 1.0 Project in Postal Services
The Ministry of Communications, under the guidance of Hon’ble Minister Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, is conducting a survey to evaluate the effectiveness of the IT 1.0 Project in enhancing the operations of postal services, including India Post Bank and Postal Life Insurance (PLI) services.

Subject: Survey on the Impact of IT 1.0 Project on Postal Services Operations
Purpose of the Survey
The survey aims to assess the impact of the IT 1.0 Project across various parameters and identify other factors influencing postal services. To facilitate this, questionnaires have been developed for different segments:
- Mail Operations (excluding ordinary mail)
- Postal Saving Bank (POSB)
- Postal Life Insurance (PLI)
Survey Participation
The following personnel are requested to complete the respective questionnaires:
- Mail Operations Questionnaire: System Manager, Divisional Heads, Postmen, Inspectors of Post (IP), Assistant Superintendents of Post (ASP), and Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS).
- PLI Questionnaire: Divisional Officers, field officers, Sub-divisional Heads, and GDS.
- Banking Questionnaire: System Administrators, Divisional Heads, IP, ASP, Postmen, and GDS.
Submission Guidelines
All Circles are required to ensure at least 100 respondents from each level complete the questionnaires. The completed questionnaires should be sent online via email to [email protected] and [email protected] by 25th June 2024.
